East Sussex County Council.

I would like to welcome the visitor from East Sussex County Council who dropped in for a few minutes at 8.56am.I was initially a bit worried that a naughty person in ESCC might be using the internet for private use whilst being paid to do something (anything) in return for the copious amounts of money we give them.I need not have worried though because the staff at ESCC dont start work until 10.30 (just in time for a tea break).11.00am a quick meeting to discuss diversity and equality shit then early lunch at 11.30 till 2.30.In the afternoon they get down to what they do best.
Afternoon is always set aside to "how can we waste as much taxpayers money as possible" whilst thinking up hairbrained schemes.Afternoon tea break is followed swiftly by going home (flexi time). So There you go I dont want anyone to get the impression that ESCC employees are lazy good for nothing parasites that wouldnt recognise a proper job if it bit them on their fat backsides.
I now look forward to the usual anonymong comments that I dont know what I am talking about and what right have you got to slag us off when you know nothing about the inner workings of Local Government.Well actually anonymongtard I am paying the wages of these people and therefore that makes me the boss and them the servant.
Local Authority parasites seem to think this is not the case and the public must do what they are told and think what they are told to think or else. This is why you get people employed by the taxpayer surfing the internet during work times reading blogs like this so they can throw their hands up and be offended. You can almost hear the drones flicking through the RIPA regulations to see if there is anything they can do to stifle dissent. My advise is dont bother -its still a free country (just) and until sharia law is implemented we are all free to speak freely about anything we like.

  1. You are paranoid.
If you think public servants are bothered about what you put in your crappy little blog then you must be mad.
Read what I have said in the past.
Everytime I visit your sight its purely by accident from Google.I thinks its disgusting that if I put Crowborough Blog or Captain Swing in google it comes up with youre rubbishy site.
To make matters worse your sight then forces me to click on your link which brings me here.
As soon as I realise my mistake I leave after a few minutes.Once I have composed myself I then revisit your sight in order to tell you what I think of your blog.

Assuming that you are not on benefits, then you do pay their wages. But it does not - thankfully - make you their boss.
    -
What do you actually do for a living?
    -
You are clearly irritated by anonymous comments - why then do you remain anonymous? I would be happy to post under my name if you did the same.
    -
Should someone bother to make the comment, as you suggest, that you "dont know what [you are] talking about and what right have you got to slag [them] off when you know nothing about the inner workings of Local Government", then, they would be completely correct. Your comments, assumptions and assertions prove that.
    -
There are lazy and/or incompetent employees in every industry, including ESCC and the industry you are in - whatever that is and especially if you are on benefits.
    -
I cannot however conceive that anyone in their right mind would employ someone with such bigoted views as yours. It does not bear thinking about.
    -
Still not 'found the courage' to answer the comment posted last night about Police Authority then?

  3. Anonymong

You seem a bit touchy about references to public sector workers being funded by the wealth creating private sector.
You also have the impression that I am somehow irritated by anonymous comments which is ridiculous as you post as anonymous. If I didnt want anonymous comments I would disable them so dont give me that rubbish.
Obviously you dont get the blogging thing do you.
A blog is private property to which I allow you to visit and comment with no moderation.I allow you to post your opinions and in return if I think you are talking crap I will tell you.
If you want to be moderated off or listen to the usual lefty crap then why dont you visit the guardian comment is free where strangely enough you are not free to comment.
Perhaps I should also explain that its accepted that you dont blog using your own name.
Surely you dont think that its actually Guido Fawkes writing his blog or Rab C Nesbitt writing Rantin Rab do you?
Let me know when you start your blog (under your own name) and I will gladly visit and offer my opinion and as a special offer I extend to all trolls I will give you a 10% reduction on my normal hourly rate.
If you are going to resort to typical left wing
insults like "bigot" then please get it right.
Like so many people you dont understand the meaning of the words you use and are too lazy to actually look them up.A bigot is a person who "regards his own faith and views in matters of religion as unquestionably right, and any belief or opinion opposed to or differing from them as unreasonable or wicked." You may correct me but I dont think I have ever referred to my faith or religion so its impossible for you to determine whether my beliefs are bigoted or not.
    Comprehensive education I take it?

  4. Brilliant! What a rant!
    .
No, not a comprehensive education (try again) and in any case my education would in no way benefit from your didactic ramblings.
    .
On the other hand yours needs a little improvement I think - I was using the term 'bigot' in the sense of its common usage:
"One who is strongly partial to one's own group, religion, race, or POLITICS and is intolerant of those who differ"
    or
"blindly and obstinately attached to some creed or OPINION and intolerant toward others".
    .
I didn't need to look up the definition of 'bigot' but I am not lazy, so I took the time to look it up for you.
    .
Your allegations on the political leanings of others is puzzling - I am certainly not left wing and as for being 'touchy about references to public sector workers', I only commented on accusations, allegations and opinions YOU expressed - which were on PUBLIC SECTOR issues.
    .
You clearly assumed, wrongly, that I was defending the public sector. Let me tell you, it is very dangerous to make assumptions. You really should read the comments carefully and (this is the difficult bit) try to understand what the comments mean.
    .
If you would like to comment, in your usual style, about the exploitative, profiteering private wealth creators, then my post would probably solicit an allegation of being right wing from you. Think about that for a while, it's a bit 'deep' for you but you might grasp the point I make.
    .
It is not your left or right wing views that I have responded to; I agree with some points you make although you make them for the wrong reasons and in the wrong way. It is your ill-considered, ill-informed, inaccurate and bigoted, yes, bigoted assertions and allegations that have encouraged me to comment.
    .
As for your attempts to educate me about the use of the web and common web practices, I am well aware of usual practice, but I have to tell you, many people do Blog in their own name and I fully understand why many don't.
    .
Thanks all the same but I was using the internet before the www existed, so I have a reasonable knowledge of the medium.
    .
    Taxi!

  5. Well fuck me despite going to a special needs school you actually invented the internet.

Sorry mate you are wrong- look up bigot again and find out what it really means.
Dont trouble me again until you can understand the origins of the word you use.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Now, come on sad man, either I went to a special needs school or a comprehensive, which was it?
    .
I didn't say I invented the internet, I said I was using the internet before the www existed but to make a statement like that, shows you have a real problem - I would say, a massive inferiority complex.
    .
I assume you know the difference between the internet and the www?
    .
You look up the definition of bigot if you want - it will still have the same definition, and I made appropriate use of the word. I say again, I used the word in the sense of its common and contemporary usage and meaning.
    .
Here's another version: "a person who is utterly intolerant of any differing creed, belief, OR OPINION" - still appropriate for you. Or is it that you don't understand the definition, the words?
    .
If you would like a debate about the ORIGINS of the word and its historic usage - go ahead. So, are we talking about the definition of the word or the origins of the word? Make up your mind.
    .
If you can't win an argument you really should not change the subject (definition to origin).
    .
I feel sure I will 'trouble' you again, possibly again and again. If you do not want me to trouble you on you 'private property' website I suggest you delete my posts or block them - your choice.
    .
I have to say, I thought your statement that "A blog is private property" was interesting. Are we to be enlightened and educated on the civil laws of publishing? I'd love to hear your theory to support that assertion.
    .
You obviously didn't go to law school. From your arrogant and offensive manner I suspect it may have been an approved school?
    .
In conclusion, I must just ask - you surely do not honestly compare your blog or yourself to Guido Fawkes or Rantin Rab do you? They both make reasoned and somewhat more educated propositions than any you attempt on this site.
    .
    Taxi!

  7. Now now anonymong its not about winning or losing its about right and wrong.
The problem with your argument is that your (incorrect) definition of bigot can apply to anyone who has different views to yourself.
Just by calling someone a bigot does not make them a bigot.Unless you understand the origin of words you cannot begin to understand their meaning and use them correctly.
Lets face it you have painted yourself into a corner here because your (incorrect )definition of bigot means that you would have to consider your own remarks bigoted. The correct definition of bigot only relates to religion so I would have to say that your views are not bigoted just misguided .Look up "hoist with your own petard" next as I think you will find the definition interesting.
We could have a discussion on why you are wrong and I am right but the idea of blogging is to comment on the original post.
By just repeating the same comments over and over again you are becoming boring .
Do you not have any opinions about ESCC staff faffing around on the internet at 11am on Armistice Day or them using taxpayers money to surf the internet reading blogs. You seem very quiet on these matters -is there something you want to confess?

  8. I am not interested in winning, I am however interested in discovering and promoting the truth and when I see something that I know to be wrong I will correct it in such circumstance as occurs on this blog.
    .
Likewise, when I see something that I BELIEVE to be wrong I will express my opinion and expect and welcome a civilised debate.
    .
I am interested in the opinions of others and am prepared to have my opinion changed - I am not a bigot, "a person who is prejudiced in their views and intolerant of the opinions of others" [source OED]
    .
I do have opinions about the question/s you raise above but having expressed a view on the SPA issue on your other post, I will, despite first-hand knowledge, make no further serious comment - unless I see some goodwill and good manners in return.
    .
I am pleased to see you are now moderating comments made on this site, it always makes for a much more civilised area, but does mean that I will make no further serious posts as I am only prepared to have my comments moderated by people or organisations I trust.
