Mela Tunbridge Wells.

The Tunbridge Wells Mela is being promoted in the local area.

One of the selling points is that its free which means I assume all these "we value diversity as long as its not English" performers are doing it for nothing and all the organisers are doing it for nothing so we can all live together it harmony.

If you look a bit deeper you will find that actually the Mela is paid for by public sector organisations and rather sinister government funded organisations like cohesion plus.So in fact the taxpayer is paying for it all.
I am sure these organisations listed below that hand over public money are not doing it for the goodness of their heart.This event is a brainwashing exercise to make sure that everyone thinks and acts the way the liberal PC bedwetters want them to.So if you want to be told how to think then by all means go along and enjoy the Albanian Lesbian dance troups and dont let it worry you in the least that the taxpayer has paid for that dog kebab you are eating.Its a fact that anything the public sector arranges is shit-think back to the crappy PC millenium dome fiasco .
Perhaps the strap line  for the Mela should be come along and be brainwashed at the taxpayers expense.
Hopefully this will  be the last Mela if the Local Government cuts are as deep as they should be.I wouldnt be so sure though I can see the council meeting now.

Finally lets finalise the line up for Mela 2011-I believe Abu Hamza is free on that day and I understand he has some very interesting ideas about diversity and tolerance.Roz get him on the phone and see if he can make the new date because we have decided to change the date of the Mela to 23rd April 2011 which from now on will be known as Abu Hamza Day rather than that horrible racist St Georges Day."

Kent Police and illegal parking.

I had the misfortune to park in Tunbridge Wells yesterday.Even though it was Sunday the council charges £1 and hour to park in the crappy Crescent Rd Car park.Today I drove through Tunbridge Wells and the parking nazis were out in force ticketing anyone and everyone.Well actually thats not true because yesterday and today there were cars illegally parked outside the Police station.The difference being is that the cars were Police cars which were parked on the double yellow lines actually blocking the road.No tickets for them and no Nazis in sight.Obviously the head of parking enforcement and the senior Police Officer are in the same lodge(nudge nudge).If I ever get a parking ticket in Tunbridge Wells I will be claiming the same exemption as the rossers and not pay up.I would urge everyone to ignore the parking regulations in Tunbridge Wells until the Police cars are given tickets like the rest of us.
Before anyone comes up with the answer that the Police do a difficult job blah blah then please note the huge yard behind the Police station that is supposed to be used for official vehicles.I suppose most of the Police are so lazy these days that they cant be bothered to walk a few yards and risk the danger of their hot doughnuts getting cold.

Afghanistan

Despite the casualties the British Military are doing what they do best in Afghanistan.We should all be proud of these brave individuals who are fighting in this conflict.Millipede and Brown pants say that it is vital to national security that our soldiers remain.What the Politicians dont say is our troops are dying because of political interfering in this conflict.Our troops are suffering because a lack of helicopters , second rate armoured transport etc etc.What the politicos dont realise is that this conflict is unwinnable under current circumstances.Unless the Armed Forces are allowed to fight the Taliban as they see fit and with the best equipment available there are going to be a lot more casualties like we saw this week.Our European Nato allies are standing back and letting the UK,USA and Canada do all the dirty work while their soldiers do nothing.There seems to be no exit strategy -I think now is the time to consider pulling our troops out and letting our "brave European Allies take over".The politicians caused this mess but they dont have a clue what to do.Our Troops are getting killed and that bastard coward brown doesnt even have the decency to send someone to be there when the bodies come home.
