One rule for them...

Eight Police officers charged with corruption have had the case against them dropped because vital evidence has gone missing.

John Terry is likely to face charges for something he alledgedly said to someone else.

Whats the chances of evidence in the John Terry case going missing and the whole thing being dropped.Well if he was a copper the chances would be pretty high but as he is not the chances are zero.

Obviously the Police will do everything to protect the criminals within their ranks but if anyone else oversteps the mark and commits a "speech crime" the book is comprehensively thrown at them.Welcome to Policing in a post democratic proto police state.
