Paul Stephenson resigns.

I have struggled to get that excited by the News of the World hacking enquiry.My view was that it was orchestrated to harm News Internationals bid for BSkyB with the added bonus of giving Rupert Murdoch a good kicking. The problem is that when you start digging around all sorts of nasty stuff comes to the surface like scum.
Things were being played out as expected in that the Met Police led by the not so closet marxist Stephenson rounded up all the journalists whilst conveniently ignoring the fact that it was members of the Police that had given the journalists the phone details in the first place in return for cash.No Police have been arrested as yet even though Police corruption is a far bigger story to those outside Westminster than journalists phone hacking.Stephenson has now resigned even though he maintains he has done nothing wrong in a hopefully futile effort to avoid prosecution.I am not holding my breath though that the full truth will come out because this whole event has exposed corruption in the highest level of the state and that simply cant do can it old boy.
Regardless of the outcome it makes a good spectacle watching it all come tumbling down in spectacular fashion especially when the most Senior Officer in the states repression arm looks as corrupt  as any third world Police chief.This is not the end of this story but the cockroaches are on the run now the light is starting to be shone onto their dirty little world.

The appliance of science.

The teaching of science in this country is nothing short of a disaster.Most schools seem to think that showing Al Gores fiction  "an inconvenient lie" without comment or question constitutes science.The understanding of everything is underpinned by science but without a basic knowledge of scientific prionciples nothing can be understood. How many youngsters leave school with a nominal science qualification but with no understanding of the basic scientific principles that help us interpret the world around us.Too much emphasis is put on accepted "wisdom" rather than learning through the process of validating theories through experimentation.It has been decided that man made climate change exists and that is the end of it.There are no experiments  taking place in schools and universities into the science behind this theory its just presented as fact. Science has an impact on every aspect of our life but people have been brainwashed into not questioning and not thinking for themselves.

A case in point was an article in a local paper about dangerous levels of NO2 levels in the high street of a local town.The local green councillor used the figures published to put forward an argument for banning cars on the road to bring down the  NO2 to "safe levels" .The reporter happily cut and pasted the Eco Fascists statement without question adding even more spin to indicate that unless cars were banned everyone in the town would die a horrible death quicker than you could say Nitrogen Dioxide.I travel through this town  most weeks and I thought it strange that the NO2 levels should be so high in the High Street of a rural Kent town .Knowing that these figures couldnt be correct I spent 10 minutes or so looking up the figures only to discover that the figures had been totally misrepresented.Although Ms Eco fascist and Ms Reporter had stated figures as fact quoting them as ppm the councils actual figures were represented using the  µgm^-3 gaseous unit of measurement .Even a scientific illiterate could see that the figures and the article as whole was a complete fabrication because in typical dumb down fashion the air monitoring website had a traffic lights system of green (low) amber (medium) and red (death) to illustrate the air quality at the sites of the monitoring stations.At no time this year has the level at this particular site gone above low for NO2.The trouble is the readers will not be aware of this lie and will swallow the figures hook line and sinker and rush to support the closing down of the high street  in the name of green eco fascism.
I have posted a comment on the story to say that the figures are wrong but I dont expect them to stay there very long.

The moral of the story is believe nothing and learn everything.

Man Made Global Cooling.

Dr Robert Kaufmann renowned weirdy beardy and climate change zealot has let the cat out of the bag today.He has admitted that the global climate is not warming at all and hasnt done for quite some time.In fact he goes a bit further and proclaims that because the expected warming hasnt occurred something must have offset the temperature rises.Dont get the impression that Kaufmann and his eco looneys have seen the light and come round to the accepted view that global temperatures are influenced by the sun and its variable activity rather than minute changes of an inert gas in the atmosphere.Excuses have to be found to explain this lack of warming or else the lucrative money go round will come to an abrupt halt and Kaufmann and his mates wont be able to charge $108 for a book on their addled thoughts .
The explanantion that has been speedily thought up is that ....wait for it...the emissions from Chinas rapidly expanding coal fired power generation plants which we have all beeen told is going to cause us all to burn to a frazzle is actually cooling the earths climate down!!.I dont really understand the logic either but I suppose if you paint yourself into a corner over manmade C02 warming and there is no warming you will have to think pretty quickly to explain it away without admitting the whole theory of man made warming or cooling is a crock of crap.
We will see a whole lot more of this rubbish from Kaufmann and his ilk because the sun is going into an extended period of low activity which will definitely cause a real drop in global temperatures for perhaps decades to come.We are witnessing the death throws of a failed pseudo scientific theory which seems to support the fact that tiny changes in the atmosphere over China can change the whole globes temperature upwards or downwards depending on what nuthouse theory you are following this week.
Still what can you expect from someone who proclaims to be a climate scientist but doesnt look beyond the confines of the earth and take into account the source of the heat and energy being put into the global weather system.Only to be expected though if you rely on an expert in economics and energy policy to explain something as complicated as the global climate.
Why are so many of these zealots economists? well who do you think came up with the idea to tax the very air that we breathe .
